This blog started for the project I am a Librarian! It gave detail the project progress. It will now focus on discussions of the image of the librarian and my interactions with librarians and library staffers as well as cool information that I think could be useful to others.
I'm headed to New Orleans for ALA on Friday. I will be attending many of the OCLC sessions for PALINET and I'll be at the Scholarship Bash for the concert. I'll also be around the exhibit halls on Monday and Tuesday. I'm looking forward to seeing some old friends & colleagues and meeting new people. If you see me, please stop and say hello.

I am a librarian and a photographer primarily. I do some tarot card readings also, but generally those are just at art openings. I guess the most important thing to me is that I want to make a difference in this world. Sometimes that might just be with the people who I meet. Every little thing counts. Everytime you help someone you can make a difference. I carry a quote in my wallet by Lincoln that states what I encompass.
